de monts & de forêts
d'océans, de déserts

S'il s'agit d'entrevoir
jusqu'au moindre détail
lever de Mars un soir
bord de l'ultime faille

Alors j'avance
là où la mer se fige
j'aspire à plein vertige
le froid & le silence
Alors je traîne
mafièvre albumineuse
au sein de nébuleuses
blanches & sereines

S'il s'agit d'admirer
l'or & le boréal
sans se laisser troubler
par le temps qui dévale

S'il s'agit d'engloutir
jusqu'à en exsuder
le vent qu'on voit gémir
sur le marbre glacé

Alors sans peur
sans songer au frisson
l'étendard nous hissons
de l'âpre Wanderer

Alors j'étrenne
la pelisse ordinaire
d'un Ulysse polaire
- ma peau de renne
La mer a englouti le jour

on the frozen marble

without thinking about shivering
we hoist the flag
of the rough Wanderer

Then I wear for the first time
the ordinary pelisse
of a polar Ulisses
my reindeer skin
